Often removing yourself from the environment you're currently in helps.
Change your scenery. Ask yourself, "Why am I allowing this to consume me?"
The way you respond to your thoughts, can keep you in your cycle.
Having self-awareness is key.
Can you recognize you are in this cycle?
Find a distraction. SHUT IT DOWN- as I would like to say.
Distractions look different for everyone.
Head to the kitchen- bake.
Go for a walk.
Reach out to a peer, friend.
Take a deep breathe- yes, you've heard that a million times- that's because it works.
Medication- developing a regular practice- is an evidence based way to clear your mind.
